Elissa Wall is a former member of the FLDS polygamist sect, led by Warren Jeffs. Her testimony helped to convict Jeffs in 2007. This memoir follows her life, from living with three mothers, to becoming a bride at a young age, to finally breaking free from the polygamous lifestyle.
The story is enthralling, the facts shocking, but Elissa makes it through and comes out the other end a better person.
For anyone who is interested in how the FLDS church works and the girl who helped bring one of America’s Most Wanted criminals down, this memoir will inform and excite.
